This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky point on Foyn Coast, Antarctic Peninsula situated 12.8 km WSW of Spur Point and 33.6 km NNW of Cape Robinson. British mapping in 1976. Named after the settlement of Varad in Southern Bulgaria.
