This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the NW side of the entrance to Finaeus Cove on the NE coast of Magnier Peninsula, Graham Coast on the Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 3.85 km SE of Paragon Point, 5.18 km SW of Eijkman Point and 3.8 km NW of Krasava Point. British mapping in 1971. Named after the settlement of Vartop in Northwestern Bulgaria.
