This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The southermost of Onogur islands off the NW coast of Robert Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 810 m N of Misnomer Point and 940 m SW of Shipot Point. The feature is low and ice-free, extending 610 m in E-W direction and 200 m wide. Separated from Robert Island by a 130 m wide passage. British mapping in 1968 and Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the Bulgar ruler Grod (6th century).
