This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the W side of the entrance to Crates Bay on the NE coast of Stresher Peninsula, Graham Coast on the Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 7.23 km ESE of Black Head, 14.3 km SSW of Prospect Point and 4.9 km WNW of the headland formed by Lens Peak. British mapping in 1976. Named after the settlement of Starmen in Northeastern Bulgaria.
