Origin

This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 2.25 km long and 1.6 km wide glacier on the W side of Brugmann Mountains on Li├Ęge Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated SW of Sigmen Glacier and NNE of Pleystor Glacier. Draining the NW slopes of Pavlov Peak and the N slopes of Mishev Peak, and flowing northwestwards into Bolbabria Cove. British mapping in 1978. Named after the Thracian god Zbelsurd.
