This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rocky point on the W coast of Liège Island in the Palmer Archipelago projecting 750 m northwestwards and forming the S side of the entrance to Vapa Cove. Situated 2.36 km NNE of Garbel Point and 1.65 km SSW of Disilitsa Point. British mapping in 1978. Named after Polezhan Peak in Pirin Mountain, Bulgaria.
