This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free tipped point on the SE side of the entrance to Kotev Cove on the NE coast of Two Hummock Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 2.55 km SE of Wauters Point, 7.38 km N of Veyka Point, and 31.8 km W by S of Cape Sterneck on the Antarctic Peninsula. British mapping 1978. Named after the settlement of Butrointsi in Western Bulgaria.
