This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rocky island 770 m long in SE-NW direction and 380 m wide in Perrier Bay on the NW coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 5.07 km ENE of Giard Point and 11.45 km S of Quinton Point. Separated from Anvers Island to the S and Vromos Island to the N by 300 m and 220 m wide passages respectively. British mapping in 1980. Named after the settlement of Trebishte in Southern Bulgaria.
