This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky island 600 m long in E-W direction and 260 m wide in Perrier Bay on the NW coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 5.32 km ENE of Giard Point and 11.45 km S of Quinton Point. Separated from Trebishte Island to the S by a 300 m wide passage. British mapping in 1980. Named after Vromos Bay on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
