This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rocky island lying 660 m NE of Quinton Point on Goten Peninsula on the NW coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago. The feature extends 620 m by 450 m, and is separated from Kalotina Island to the W by a 140 m wide passage. British mapping in 1980. Named after the settlements of Temenuga in Northern and Southern Bulgaria.
