This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 4 km long and 2.3 km wide glacier on the E side of the main crest of north-central Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated N of Gerila Glacier and S of the head of Embree Glacier. Drains the NE slopes of the northern summit of Long Gables Peak and the SE slopes of Mount Anderson, flows northeastwards and joins upper Ellen Glacier SE of Eyer Peak. US mapping in 1961 and 1988. Named after the Fonfon locality on Vitosha Mountain, Bulgaria.
