Narrative

The 1.3 km long ice-covered saddle of elevation 1750 m in northern Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains connecting Mount Earp on the NW to Matsch Ridge in Gromshin Heights on the SE. Situated 4.6 km NW of Mount Ulmer, 13 km E by S of the N extremity of the main ridge of Sentinel Ridge, and 12 km SW of Kipra Gap. US mapping in 1961. Named after Skamni Point on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
