This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky point on the SW coast of Clarence Island in the South Shetland Islands forming the W extremity of the island. Situated 2.1 km N of Craggy Point and 4.05 km SW of Vaglen Point. British mapping in 1972 and 2009. Named after the settlement of Chichil in Northwestern Bulgaria.
