This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rock-tipped point on the SW side of the entrance to Chinstrap Cove on the NW coast of Clarence Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 5.75 km NNE of Craggy Point and 7.45 km SW of Humble Point. British mapping in 1972 and 2009. Named after the settlements of Vaglen in Northeastern and Southeastern Bulgaria.
