This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered buttress rising to 1850 m on the NW side of Detroit Plateau on Davis Coast in Graham Land. Situated between tributaries to Wright Ice Piedmont, 7.3 km E of Mount Ader, 26.4 km SE of Cape Andreas, 19.97 km SW of Matov Peak, and 24.06 km NW of Darzalas Peak on Nordenskj"ld Coast. Steep and partly ice-free SW, NW and NE slopes. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Lale in Southern Bulgaria.
