This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The ice-covered point on the N side of the entrance to Kayak Bay on the E coast of Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 9.36 km SW of Mitchell Point, 2.7 km W of Hvarchil Point on Lecointe Island, 3.35 km NNE of Momino Point, and 2.7 km ESE of Podem Peak whose offshoot forms the point. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Bov in Western Bulgaria.
