This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered peak of elevation 1200 m in the central part of Gutsal Ridge in Stribog Mountains on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 4.73 km SE of Trambesh Peak, 8.64 km WSW of Momino Point, 1.88 km NW of Zelenika Peak and 3 km NE of Mount Imhotep. Steep and partly ice-free SW slopes. Surmounts Balanstra Glacier to the NE and Hippocrates Glacier to the SW. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Kotlari in Southern Bulgaria.
