This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The narrow rocky point projecting 400 m from the N coast of Pasteur Peninsula and forming the N extremity of Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 4.5 km E by N of Cape Roux and 4.3 km W by N of Cape Cockburn. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Marinka in Southeastern Bulgaria.
