This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 4.5 km long and 3 km wide glacier on Pasteur Peninsula, Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, situated NE of Dodelen Glacier and W of Burevestnik Glacier. Drains the N slopes of Stribog Mountains, flows northwards and enters the sea E of Cape Roux and W of Marinka Point. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Podayva in Northeastern Bulgaria.
