This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Covered with snow, a large number of exposed rocks are on the northeast coast of Dalk Glacier. On a larger scale, the place looks like a tiger's head as a whole with recognizable mouth, nose, eyebrows and eyes. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1993.
