This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A deep bay, located between Jiulong Bandao and Stornes Peninsula, is long and narrow. The bay is 700 metres in width and 3 km in length. Kunlun Qundao lies to the outside of west bay. This bay is the largest shelter bay in the west Lasemann Hills. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
