This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
It is a small and narrow peninsula on the west-most part of Xiongmao Dao.It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993 because it is narrow, like the tail of a sheep.
