This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small lake is located on the south part of Heng Shan. The snow of cheuch in the north part of Feicui Bandao covers a large area all year round;only the snow on the top of the hills melts when summer comes. Water in the valley turn into lakes in the north part of the peninsula. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1993.
