This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A long strip shaped island, located in the eastern margin of the Larsemann Hills Dalk Glacier,at the head of the North Island, and 1.7 km from the Dalk Island. The shape of the island looks like a centipede on white glaciers. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1993.
