This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point projecting 1 km into the head of Barilari Bay on Graham Coast in Graham Land. Situated 13.85 km ESE of Vorweg Point, 9.17 km SE of Duyvis Point, and 7.35 km NW of the highest point of Mitino Buttress an offshoot of which forms the point. British mapping in 1971. Named after the settlement of Vardun in Northeastern Bulgaria.
