This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered point projecting 1 km into the head of Barilari Bay on Graham Coast in Graham Land. Situated 7.77 km SSE of Vorweg Point, 14.5 km SW of Duyvis Point and 6.57 km WSW of Cherkovna Point. Formed by an offshoot of Ilchev Buttress. British mapping in 1976. Named after the settlement of Byaga in Southern Bulgaria.
