This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered point on the SW side of the entrance to Yarebitsa Cove on the SE coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 11.7 km NE of Cape James, 3 km SE of Neofit Peak and 4.6 km SW of Sredets peak. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement of Skalina in Southern Bulgaria.
