This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rounded ice-covered ridge extending 12 km in N-S direction, 4 km wide and rising to 1554 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Situated on the NW side of Detroit Plateau, 28.8 km SE of Cape Kater and 26.7 km S of Cape Kjelman. Two northerly offshoots of the ridge form Dragor Hill and Borovan Knoll. Steep and partly ice-free W, N and E slopes. Surmounts Whitecloud Glacier to the W and McNeile Glacier to the E. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Klokotnitsa in Southern Bulgaria.
