This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered peak rising to 1500 m in the S part of Pernik Peninsula, Loubet Coast in Graham Land. Situated 15 km ESE of Álvarez Point, 15 km S of Mount Deeley and 8.2 km NE of Zhelev Peak. Steep and partly ice-free SW and NW slopes. Surmounts Field Glacier to the N and W, and its tributary Narezne Glacier to the SW. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Barziya in Northwestern Bulgaria.
