This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rounded, mostly ice-covered buttress 13.5 km long in E-W direction and 7.5 km wide, rising to 1400 m on Fallières Coast in Graham Land. Situated on the W side of Hemimont Plateau, 13 km SSW of Smilyan Bastion, 12.7 km N of Shapkarev Buttress, 14.25 km NE of Glavinitsa Peak and 7.17 km ESE of Chertigrad Point. Steep and partly ice-free S, W and N slopes. Surmounts Perutz Glacier to the S, Blind Bay to the W and Barnes Glacier to the N. British mapping in 1978. Named after Hayduta Peak in Rila Mountain, Bulgaria.
