This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The sharp rocky peak rising to 1250 m in the W foothills of Hemimont Plateau on Fallières Coast in Graham Land. Situated 8 km SW of Grozden Peak, 5.4 km NNE of Specimen Nunatak and 9.45 km E of Mount Wilcox. Surmounts Swithinbank Glacier to the SW and Kom Glacier to the N. British mapping in 1978. Named after the Bulgarian painter, engraver, writer and poet Hristofor Zhefarovich (1690-1753).
