This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small hill on the S side of Filla Island in the Rauer Group.
This feature is named for its distinctive pyramid shape similar to the nest mound of the malleefowl, a native Australian bird.
