This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered peak rising to 1800 m in Lassus Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 2.7 km S by E of Mount Devol, 8.38 km WSW of Rachenitsa Nunatak and 5.55 km E by N of Beagle Peak. Steep and partly ice-free S slopes. Surmounts Nichols Snowfield to the E and Narechen Glacier to the NW. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the ancient Thracian tribe of Moriseni inhabiting the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
