This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-free rocky ridge extending 1.54 km in N-S direction and 1.1 km wide, rising to 900 m on the W side of Elgar Uplands in northern Alexander Island. Situated 1.8 km N of Appalachia Nunataks, 18 km NE of Sutton Heights, 10.63 km SE of Shaw Nunatak and 5 km SSW of Tegra Nunatak. Surmounts Nichols Snowfield to the W and its tributary Delius Glacier to the E. Visited on 30 January 1988 by the geological team of Christo Pimpirev and Borislav Kamenov (First Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition), and Philip Nell and Peter Marquis (British Antarctic Survey). British mapping in 1971.
Named after the megalithic monument of Nebush in Southwestern Bulgaria.
