This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 3 km long in ENE-WSW direction and 1.3 km wide glacier on the W side of Havre Mountains in northern Alexander Island. Situated S of Oselna Glacier and W of Coulter Glacier. Flows southwestwards and enters Lazarev Bay NW of Goleminov Point. British mapping in 1971.

Named For

Named after the Bulgarian composer Emanuil Manolov (1860-1902).
