This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered mountain rising to 1600 m in Lassus Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 2.53 km SSW of Moriseni Peak, 16.2 km W of Nebush Nunatak in Elgar Uplands, 4.26 km N of Mount Morley and 4.57 km ESE of Beagle Peak. Steep and partly ice-free SW slopes. Surmounts Nichols Snowfield to the E and Narechen Glacier to the NW. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the Bulgarian operetta singer Mimi Balkanska (1902-1984).
