This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to 1300 m in Havre Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 11.18 km ENE of Buneva Point, 13.5 km SE of Cape Vostok, 6.54 km SW of Satovcha Peak and 7 km NNE of Simon Peak. Surmounts Lennon Glacier to the N and E, and Pipkov Glacier to the S. Steep and partly ice-free SW slopes. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the Bulgarian opera singer Elena Nicolai (Stoyanka Nikolova, 1905-1993).
