This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky point on the NW coast of Alexander Island projecting 400 m westwards into Lazarev Bay SE of the terminus of Manolov Glacier. Situated 6.17 km SE of Kamhi Point, 24.9 km SSE of Cape Vostok and 6 km NW of Dint Island. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the Bulgarian composer Marin Goleminov (1908-2000).
