This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The roughly triangular lake extending 220 m in W-E direction and 150 m in N-S direction at the E extremity of South Beaches on Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Surface area 1.9 ha. Separated from sea by a 40 to 57 m wide strip of land. Centred 320 m NE of Rish Point and 870 m SW of Clark Nunatak. Drains by way of a 260 m long stream flowing into the sea W of Rish Point. Surmounted by Ritli Hill on the east.
Named after Juturna, a Roman deity of springs and streams, daughter of Vulturnos.
