This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A ridge of approx. 300 m length, rising only a few metres above the snow surface, extending from NW to SE, one of the S-most exposures of Heimefrontfjella, approx. 7 km SE of Flisegga, Tottanfjella; was discovered on aerial photography taken by the Institut für Angewandte Geodäsie (Institue for Applied Geodesy), Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1985/86 and visited and gelogically described for the first time in 1994; Maudheimvidda, Neuswabenland, Dronning Maud Land.

Named For

Klaus Weber (1936-2010), German geologist, member of two expeditions to Heimefrontfjella.
