This name originates from . It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An impressive triple round-topped mountain, 1.7 km N of the mountain 'Himmelsleiter' on a narrow ridge in the S part of Vinten-Johansenegga, Holtedahlfjella, Kurzegebirge, Orvinfjella, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Very likely a first ascent on 2009-NOV-19 during a privately organized expedition, motivated by mountain climbing, nature studies and journalistic interests, called 1st Austrian Queen Maud Land Expedition 2009.
The three-humped mountain reminds one of a camel.
