A glacier flowing east from the snow-covered saddle just north of La Gorce Peak, Alexandra Mountains. It merges with Dalton Glacier on the north side of King Edward VII Land.
Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for William Robert Blades who served as navigator during U.S. Navy (USN) Operation Highjump (1946-47) and Operation Deep Freeze (1955-59).
