A broad glacier near the edge of the polar plateau, flowing northwest into Scott Glacier immediately south of La Gorce Mountains.

Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Commander Verle W. Klein, pilot with U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6 on Operation Deep Freeze, 1966 and 1967.
