A partly ice-covered rock feature at the southern extremity of the Bennett Escarpment, about 46 km south-west of Mount Crohn. Recorded on terrestrial photographs taken by S L Kirkby, surveyor at Mawson in 1956, and on aerial photography by ANARE in 1965. Named after P J Browne-Cooper, geophysicist at Wilkes in 1965.
