This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An outcrop 861.5 m above sea level, and about 74 km north-east of Mount Pardoe in Enderby Land.
The outcrop was named after A. McMaster, a surveyor with the ANARE Enderby Land Survey Party in 1976 who established a survey station on the summit.
