Narrative

A small, solitary nunatak in the middle of and near the northern end of the Nemesis Glacier. It is about 900 m above sea level. Discovered in December, 1956, by an ANARE sledging party led by Peter W. Crohn. Named after A.H. Sandilands, radio operator at Mawson in 1957.
