Narrative

A rock bluff in the central part of the Mawson Escarpment, between Manning Glacier and Greenall Glacier. Plotted from ANARE air photographs taken in 1956, 1960 and 1973. Named after L.S. Prior, (then) Assistant Director, Geophysics, of the (then) Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics, Australian Department of Minerals and Energy.
