Narrative

One of two promontories to the south-west of Stornes Peninsula in the Larsemann Hills. Plotted by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936-37, and called Storneskloa (Big Cape Claw).

Named For

Named after Lt. Leslie Tonagh, RAASC, DUKW Driver who landed the first party on Jesson Island on 7 February 1958.
