Narrative

A small group of islands in Wheeler Bay, just west of Magnet Bay in Kemp Land. Mapped from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Brxdrene by Norwegian cartographers. Renamed after G.T. Wheeler, weather observer at Mawson in 1957.
