A cape, just east of the Totten Glacier on the Sabrina Coast, Wilkes Land. Photographed by USN Operation Highjump in 1947. Plotted on base compilation sheets in 1955 by Gardner Blodgett of the Office of Geography, US Department of Interior. Photographed by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1956. Named after I. Simonov, astronomer with the Bellingshausen Expedition (1819-21).
